As per the product listing, Micromax A76 Canvas features 5-inch FWVGA display, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 2000 mAh battery, and 512MB of RAM. The phone also comes with Android 4.2, 4GB of ROM (1.25GB of usable internal storage), dual-SIM support, microSD card slot and 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
Thanks to the success of Canvas-series, Micromax seems to focussing a lot of budget phablets. With the market full of cheap phablets, it would be better for the manufacturer to tap other segments too otherwise the sales graph would soon start moving downwards.

Good move by micromax……
So they’re gonna just basically cannibalize their Canvas Music? For what?
IMO, they need better and newer models to compete with Galaxy Fame for around 7K.
Upstream, they need newer models to compete with the Galaxy Core and Xperia M. The Canvas 2 and it’s derivatives have well past their sell by date 🙁
Just my 2¢ 😉
