Micromax A92 Canvas Lite coming soon for INR 8,499

Apart from flagship Canvas 4, Micromax is planning to release another smartphone in the coming weeks. Dubbed as Micromax A92 Canvas Lite, the phone is currently listed on Flipkart as coming soon. To remind you, the phone was earlier spotted on the support site of Micromax.

Micromax A92 features a 5-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and Android 4.1. The phone also packs dual-SIM support, 5MP rear camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

Other specifications of the Canvas Lite include 3G support, 2,000 mAh battery, microSD card slot and FM Radio. Overall, the phone seems to a replacement for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 but A92 sports lower megapixel camera, suggesting that both A110 and A92 might co-exist.

With A92 Canvas Lite and Canvas 4, we now have a total of nine Android phones in Micromax’s Canvas series. If we include the original A100 Canvas too, the total goes to ten, but it has been discontinued now.

There is no word on the release of Micromax A92 Canvas Lite but Flipkart listing does note that the phone will be carry a price-tag of INR 8,499.
