According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be sold in five different colour options. These colours are White, Orange, Gray, Black and White Gold. While the first four colours will be available at launch, White Gold version is expected to go on sale a week later.
Samsung Galaxy Gear is reportedly getting announced at a Samsung press event ahead of IFA trade fair on September 4 along with Samsung Galaxy Note III. Multiple reports have suggested that Galaxy Gear will run on Android and will work as an accessory to Samsung’s Android smartphones. It will communicate with phones using Bluetooth LE and Watch Manager app.
There have been contradicting reports on the voice-calling functionality in Galaxy Gear. The specifications of the smartwatch are expected to include 2.5-inch square OLED display, camera, accelerometer and NFC.
