Verizon HTC One finally coming on Aug 22, Red version lands on Sprint today

Verizon has revealed that HTC One will finally be available on its network beginning August 22. It will be sold at $199.99 with the usual two-year contract.

You can sign-up at the Verizon website if you want for latest information on the phone and its availability.

To remind you, HTC One packs a 4.7-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel camera, Android 4.2 with Sense 5 and 32GB of internal storage.

In related news, the Red version of HTC One is now available in the United States via Sprint, which is also selling the phone at $199.99 with two-year service agreement but is offering an additional HTC One for free until August 30.

This is not all; Sprint is also pre-loading the new NextRadio interactive FM radio application on every HTC One and EVO 4G LTE smartphone for new buyers, while existing users can download it from Google Play for free.
