Verizon confirms HTC Droid DNA, final press render leaked

Verizon has officially confirmed that it will be launching a smartphone dubbed as Droid DNA today on its website. This US telco is also promising an official unboxing of the phone ahead on Tuesday launch event to its Google+ followers at an exclusive hangout.

In a separate leak, the seemingly official press render of Droid DNA has appeared online.

Verizon-bound Droid DNA is a version of HTC’s recently launched J Butterfly smartphone, which is going to be available in Japan next month. According to reports, HTC Droid DNA will come with 5-inch display with 1080x1920p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Verizon and HTC are holding a press event on Tuesday; more details are expected to be revealed there.
