Huawei Ascend P1 3G version goes on sale for INR 12,490

As expected, the 3G version of Huawei Ascend P1 smartphone is now available in the Indian market.  Priced a little lower than the pre-order price, Ascend P1 can now be grabbed from the likes of Flipkart and Infibeam for INR 12,490.

The smartphone will join the LTE version of the phone, which has been retailing in the country with Airtel since October last year. It is important to note here that 3G version sports a different design than the LTE version.

To remind you, Huawei Ascend P1 features 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0, 1GB of RAM and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display. The phone also packs 4GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, 1.3MP front camera, and microSD card slot.

At this pricing, the phone will be competing with Sony’s Xperia M smartphone, which became available just two days ago and packs similar specifications.
