“The new Yahoo! Weather Android app showcases the new beautiful design you’ve been waiting for. We’ve brought gorgeous Flickr photos of locations by weather and by time of day to the front of our experience,” stated Marco Wirasinghe, Director of Mobile Products, Yahoo in a blog post.
According to Yahoo, the updated app carries more data than ever. Users can check 10-day forecasts, 24 hour forecast, chance of precipitation, wind and pressure, moon phases, UV patterns, sunrise and sunset times, as well as an interactive map in the application.
The app also brings a new lock screen widget for direct weather updates.
