Sony’s recently announced 6.4-inch smartphone Xperia Z Ultra is now available in the Indian market. Listed at retailer Saholic.com, the device has been priced at INR 44,990. The retailer expects to ship in seven days, suggesting that they might be waiting for the actual stocks.

The first smartphone to reach to reach Indian shores with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, Sony Xperia Z Ultra was originally announced at the Mobile Asia Expo last month. i preordered one yesterday. I was worried whether it’s a scam since it’s not yet launched anywhere else in the world. But they promise to deliver the same one or before first of august… No doubt it’s a great set and for screen size i think it’s manageable after nearly 2 yrs of Note usage. The antutu benchmarks were released from India, so I guess Sony had India in mind for first launch. The expected price in UK online stores is ~55k (599 pounds) so the price is a bit high but well, cudnt resist 😀
