Still, no announcement in sight

The second-generation Nexus 7 tablet might have become a mirage but it still continues to pop up here and there just to tease us. With no information on the actual announcement of Nexus 7, we will just to consume the certification news coming from Europe and Indonesia, which at least suggests that the tablet is alive and kicking somewhere.

This Asus-made Nexus tablet passed through Global Certification Forum (GCF) earlier today and Indonesian regulatory authority late last month but was spotted over the weekend.

There has been no new information retrieval from these certifications but they have confirmed the presence of LTE on one variant of next-Nexus 7 tablet, which will probably carry model number K009, while K008 will be the model number of Wi-Fi only version. The LTE version supports HSPA+ 42mbps but there is no word on the existence of a without LTE HSPA+ version.

To remind you, as per reports till now, Nexus 7 II will come with a 7-inch full HD display, 2GB of RAM, Snapdragon 600 or S4 Pro processor, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and Android 4.3.

We are actively tracking the story and will let you guys know if we finally get the release date of next-generation Nexus 7 tablet.
