Next-gen Nexus 7 image appears online, Snapdragon 600 listed

Second-generation Nexus 7 tablet, which was just confirmed to be Asus K009 couple of days ago, has now appeared in its first photograph, although a tiny one. A Bluetooth SIG listing, where the tablet was spotted, also reveals the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor.

Not much can be seen in this small photograph, but you can still spot the front camera and also the comparably smaller bezel than the original Nexus 7.

The Bluetooth SIG listing seems to be in contradiction with FCC in terms of the processor, as FCC lists Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, while Bluetooth SIG notes Snapdragon 600. We think the presence of Snapdragon 600 is more likely given the launch timing but you never know.

Nexus 7 II is also rumoured to come with a 1920x1200p display, front camera, rear camera, LTE, and Wi-Fi support. The increasing number of Nexus 7 appearances suggests that we should be seeing the official announcement very soon, although according to some reports the tablet will only be available next month.
