Verizon will be carrying Moto X, but probably with Moto X moniker itself. As per previous rumours, Motorola is also preparing couple of Droid Ultra smartphone, which will carry on the Droid legacy on Verizon. Product page of a Droid Ultra appeared briefly on Motorola site on Monday and revealed that the phone will be thin and pack Kevlar body.
Back to Moto X, Google-owned Motorola is beginning its ad campaign for its flagship with a print ad today in major US dailies. The advertisement highlights that fact that Moto X is going to be assembled in the US unlike other phones, which are assembled in China or other countries.
The ad also talks about the customisability of the phone but has not revealed any key details. It is expected to be launched in the coming weeks, so we won’t have to wait long.

One reply on “Moto X will not carry Droid branding on Verizon”
Please make the Droid 5, there are people who can’t use the virtual keyboard but love the droids, my condition is hyperhidrosis, and I have sweaty palms and need the physical keyboard, thanks
