Huawei’s rumoured ultra-thin Ascend P6 smartphone is back in news, this time in the form on a leaked press render. The phone, which is supposed to be the thinnest smartphone from the company (and possibly in the world), is expected to come with 1.5GHz quad-core processor.

The latest leaked press render from evleaks matches with the previous sightings of the phone and confirms the 6.18mm thick chassis. As per a report on Engadget, Huawei Device Chairman Richard Yu has apparently revealed to his followers on Weibo that the leaked render is indeed of Ascend P6 and the phone will be officially announced on June 18 in London. The post was however deleted soon after.

As per previous reports, Huawei Ascend P6 will come with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Jelly Bean, Emotion UI, and 4.7-inch 720p HD display. We have also seen a variant of the phone, which will probably be China specific and pack 32GB of internal storage and dual-SIM connectivity.
