Micromax launches A115 Canvas 3D for INR 9,999

Micromax has announced the launch of A115 Canvas 3D Android smartphone today. It is the first 3D Android phone from the company and will go on sale in the first week of May, as earlier reported. As per a press release issued by the company, A115 has been priced at INR 9,999.

Micromax A115 Canvas 3D features 5-inch stereoscopic 3D display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. The phone also comes with 5-megapixels rear camera, 0.3-megapixels front camera and 2,000 mAh battery. You can read full specifications of the phone later in the post.

Micromax has also pre-loaded few 3D games on the smartphone to effectively use the 3D display on-board the phone along with Micromax 3D space app, which gives access to 3D videos.

“Building on the unprecedented success of Canvas 2 and Canvas HD, Micromax has introduced Canvas 3D giving the consumers a complete bouquet of options to choose from the series,” the company noted in the press release.

This is the fifth Canvas series smartphone from the company and launches on the heels of the recent announcement, in which Micromax claims to have sold 1 million Canvas smartphones till date.

They should have included Dual-Cameras like in LG Optimus 3D and HTC to take 3D photos and videos…
