Micromax A115 Canvas 3D coming in first week of May: Report

Advertisements

Micromax is reportedly planning to launch its first 3D Android smartphone ‘A115 Canvas 3D’ in the first week of next month, reports NDTV Gadgets. The site is claiming that industry sources have revealed that the phone will be priced in between INR 15,000 & INR 20,000. From the leaked specs that we have seen so far, any price above INR 11-13K will lead to the phone’s failure.

Apart from the 3D display, which has never been successful in a smartphone, there is nothing extraordinary about the A115. So, there is no way anyone is going to buy the phone if it gets a pricing like 16-17K or even INR 15K.

According to previous reports, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D will come with a 5-inch display with WVGA resolution. The phone will be powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. It will run on Android 4.1 and pack features like 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card.

In related news, we have also heard about another smartphone in the Micromax’s Canvas series that is reportedly coming in the upcoming days. Dubbed as A111, the phone will have a 5.3-inch qHD display and will be powered by 1.2GHz quad-core CPU.
