Acer announces Liquid E2 with quad-core CPU for 229 euros

Acer has announced its successor to earlier launched Liquid E1 smartphone in the form of Liquid E2 today. The phone, which is powered by a quad-core processor, will first go on sale in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, and France, followed by Spain, UK, Italy, Germany and Russia starting in mid-May. Acer Liquid E2 will be priced at 229 euros and sell in black and white colour options.

The smartphone runs on Android, but the exact version is unclear at the moment, we anticipate the presence of Jelly Bean in the phone.  Liquid E2 also comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display, dual-SIM support (in some variants), and 8-megapixel rear camera. The phone also packs 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the usual connectivity options.
