Sony Xperia E, E Dual now on pre-order in India

As we reported earlier, Sony India is getting ready to launch Xperia E and Xperia E dual smartphones in the country. Both smartphones are now on pre-order online. As per the pre-order listing, Sony Xperia will get a price-tag of INR 9,999 and go on sale beginning March 20. On the other hand, Sony Xperia E Dual will be sold at INR 10,999 beginning March 30.

Sony Xperia E and E Dual come with the same specifications apart from the obvious dual-SIM connectivity in E Dual. The smartphones feature 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.2MP rear camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phones also come with 512MB RAM, 3G, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 1530 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia E and E Dual will join Sony’s entry-level smartphone portfolio in the country, which includes Xperia Tipo and Tipo dual, both of which were launched last year.

To remind you, Sony India had recently launched Xperia Z and ZL smartphone in the country at INR 38,990 and INR 35,990 respectively. Company also plans to release Xperia Tablet Z in the month of May.
