Sony India has revealed that it will launch Xperia E dual and Xperia E smartphones in the country this month. Sony Xperia E dual will be the first to get launched followed by Xperia E later in the month.

A company executive announced at the recent Xperia Z press event that they plan to price Xperia E dual around INR 11,000, while Xperia E will be sold for INR 10,000. There is no word on the exact release date, but we can expect Xperia E around the third week of March.

Originally announced in December last year, Sony Xperia E and E dual phones feature 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 3.2MP rear camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 512MB RAM. The phones also come with 1500 mAh battery, HD voice, 3D surround sound and DLNA connectivity.

The only difference between two phones is the dual and single SIM connectivity.  The phones are sold globally in Pink, Black, White colours and are likely to reach the country in same variants.

To remind you, Sony India also launched Xperia Z and ZL smartphones recently and Xperia Z will go on sale beginning March 12 followed by ZL, which is likely to be available along with Xperia E dual.
