Sony Xperia Z will be sold in India for INR 38,990 and Xperia ZL will go for INR 35,990. Given the price-tags of some of the recent launches, I would say this is a decent pricing from the company.
As we reported earlier, Sony Xperia Z and ZL are expected to become available in Sony’s branded stores on March 12, followed by broader availability in non-branded stores and online channels like Flipkart. The listing at Flipkart also mentions expected availability in the third week of March, which is in line with what we have heard.
To remind you, both Sony Xperia Z and ZL phones come with Android 4.1, 5-inch full HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphones also come with 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and microSD card slot.
Differences between Xperia Z and Xperia ZL
Xperia Z: IPX5/7 (Water-resistant) & IP5X (Dust-proof), Glass on both front and back, just 7.9mm thick
Xperia ZL: Infrared, dedicated camera button, plastic back, slimmer bezel, slightly more powerful battery.

Great pricing this phone is going to kill S3 , Optimus G and HTC butterfly. Expect it to be touch cheaper when it wil be offered by other online sites.
I booked the fantastic phone, was eagerly waiting for it. Placed an order at M2hshop.com (The pioneer) who were earlier booking orders for Micromax canvas hd after snapdeal. I booked it with them.
