ZTE has become the first manufacturer announce an Android smartphone with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 800 processor launched a Snapdragon 600 powered smartphone at MWC. This high-performance CPU will come as a part of ZTE’s Grand Memo smartphone. (See update below)
ZTE Grand Memo features a 5.7-inch 720p display, 1.7GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.1, and 13MP rear camera. The phone also packs 3200 mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. ZTE will also be releasing a LTE variant of the phone, which will have 1080p display instead of 720 in HSPA version.
On an interesting note, ZTE has include a Mi-POP feature on the phone, which is actually a small set of controls that appear on the screen wherever is most comfortable for users, to make it easy for the user to use this huge size smartphone. There is no word on the pricing of this big screen phone; however ZTE did reveal that it will be launching in China sometime next month, with European release coming later this year.

Update: Turns out ZTE Grand Memo will have two variants, one with Snapdragon 800 and other with Snapdragon S4 Pro.

It has interesting specifications
All the device launched in WMC are Similar specs with Similar operating System… Now what’s unique…
gavruv i guess memo has snapdragon 600 processor not 800.. verify it..

You are right, ZTE has Snapdragon 600 not 800. Turns out ZTE executives at the MWC press conference were misinformed about the CPU.
