Lava’s smartphone brand XOLO has officially announced the launch of A1000 Android smartphone today. Packing a huge 5-inch HD display, the smartphone has been priced at INR 13,999. It is already on sale online, as we reported last night.

XOLO A1000 features 1GHz MediaTek MT6577 Cortex A9 dual-core processor, dual-SIM connectivity, 1GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. On the imaging front, the smartphone also packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1.2MP front camera. Both the cameras come with BSI sensors.

According to XOLO, The smartphone will be sold in Black and White colours.

I bought this from M2hshop.com, they also happen to sell apart from Flipkart ! ;-).
Heard it’s an emerging brand, might ship it faster.

replace that dual core with a mt 6589 quad core and this phone becomes better than canvas hd. sigh.
