The Acer Liquid C1 also takes the tally of Intel-powered smartphones available globally to nine. Intel seems to be making some progress on the smartphone front, albeit slowly. The first Intel-powered smartphone XOLO X900 was launched in India last year in April by Lava.
The latest Acer smartphone Liquid C1 features a 4.3-inch display, 2000mAh battery, 8MP rear camera, Atom Z2420 processor, Android 4.0 and HSPA+ connectivity.
The phone will be initially sold at the Mobile Expo in Thailand from 7 to 11 February under a special promotion and will later reach the retail stores for $ 335.
