While, there is no way to confirm the authenticity of these remarks by Flavio, but if HTC is indeed planning to release M7 outside MWC, there are obvious positives of this decision.
Tech media is super busy during MWC and with devices launching within hours of each other, none of the new launches get the media coverage, they would get if they were released at a separate time. Even Samsung has started doing the same with its Galaxy S series flagship devices by announcing them at special event.
The global media, which won’t be able to attend this rumoured launch, can always get their hands on the smartphone at HTC stall during MWC (Feb 25-28, 2013).
To remind you, HTC M7 is expected to come with a 4.7-inch 1080p display, 13MP rear camera, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, LTE, Jelly Bean, Sense 5.0 and 1.7GHz quad-core S4 Pro processor.
We have already seen live images and alleged press render of the HTC M7, but we hope to get clarity on the launch situation in the coming days
