Set to go on sale starting January 21, the Huawei G520 packs a 4.5-inch display of unknown resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 5MP rear camera, Android (version unknown), and 512MB RAM.
The smartphone is likely to be priced at just 1,399 yuan ($225 or €169). At this price, it is certainly a no-brainer for anyone who does not have a special liking for Qualcomm, NVIDIA or Samsung SoC. There is no word on release in other countries, but we expect to see it in the Indian market in the coming months, as the Chinese telecommunications giant wants to make its presence known in the country and Ascend G520 seems a decent fit the market. Company had recently launched two smartphones in Ascend series in India and a third smartphone is on pre-order.
