Huawei Ascend D2 press render leaked, to be announced at CES

Tech blogs are abuzz today with news of Huawei’s Jelly Bean smartphone Ascend D2, which has been reported to be revealed at CES 2013. According to reports, Huawei Senior Vice President Richard Yu has confirmed on Weibo that Ascend D2 will indeed be announced at CES for the worldwide users.

In other news, Unwired View has published the first press render for the smartphone, giving us a clear look at the phone as well as the Emotion UI, which will be overlaid the Android 4.1 in the smartphone.

A previous report from Huawei’s internal event has already made the specs public, which include 5-inch 1080p display, 1.5 GHz Huawei quad-core CPU, 13MP rear camera and 3000 mAh battery. The phone also packs a 1.3MP front camera and the usual connectivity options.

We will know more about the phone as well as the pricing and availability at Huawei’s CES announcement.
