LG Optimus 2x seems to be getting Android 4.0 update in Europe

LG has reportedly released the much much-awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Optimus 2X users in select European countries. According to report over at XDA forums, ICS build V30a is rolling out now and can be applied using company’s mobile support tool.

The update is currently available only for unlocked units and there is no word on the update release in other countries including India or carrier locked devices.

The update brings also the ICS goodness to this world’s first dual-core smartphone along with a new launcher from the Korean company.

This is a joke from LG.
I tried do update, and the installer tells me that a ics version (v30a) was available.
Ok, lets’go!

But, after the upgrade processs… wait, the version installed was the v20r ???
WTF!!

Now, the installer tells me that i have the v20r version installed, and there are no updates avalable…

But, where is the v30a ???

WTF LG!!!
