Sony Yuga C660x spotted in the wild with 12MP camera, 5-inch 1080p display

A new set of images showcasing Sony’s upcoming smartphone C660x have appeared online. The smartphone, which is also known as Yuga, is expected to be announced in the coming months.

Same as with all the blurrycam images, you need to look very hard to get an idea of how this smartphone is going to look like in the real world.

There is one surprise though, Sony seems to be giving up on its curved Arc like design and Yuga is sports a boxy, rectangular shape with a glass back (Yes, unfortunately),

There is a very thin bezel and the phone is using virtual Android buttons, which is a good thing.

In terms of specs, we can see Android 4.1.1 on-board the smartphone, but we surely will be happier to see Android 4.2 on the retail unit. Other features include previously leaked 1.5GHz quad-core S4 Pro processor, 5-inch 1080p display, and 2GB RAM.

Another change is in terms of camera sensor that was earlier being rumoured as 13MP, is actually a 12MP sensor, as we can see in the images.

Sony seems to be trying really hard to come up with a popular Android smartphone but most of the times either it is late to the market or its hardware is old, we hope that is no longer the case with Sony C660x Yuga.
