Earlier, Apple was ordered to post a public apology to Samsung on its website after the company lost an appeal against court’s decision that Samsung tablet did not infringe iPad’s design patents.
Apple did post about the court decision on its website, but added information about decisions from German and US courts, which showed that although UK court found for Samsung, other court agreed that Samsung indeed has infringed Apple‘s patents.
Now, Apple has been told to put up an amended statement on its website.
“Apple must now within 48 hours publish a correction on their homepage with a link to the corrected statement in not less than 11-point font,” ordered the court.
“I’m at a loss that a company such as Apple would do this,” Judge Robin Jacob said today. “That is a plain breach of the order.”
