According to a coming soon listing on Flipkart, the smartphone will be priced at INR 9,499 in the country. There is no word on availability date, but it should not take a long time.
Sony Xperia tipo features Android 4.0, 3.2-inch display with HVGA resolution, 3.2MP primary camera and 800 MHz processor. It also features FM Radio, 1500 mAh battery, 512MB RAM and 2.5GB of internal storage.
On paper, Sony Xperia tipo certainly looks like a great budget Android from a known Android manufacturer. We are keeping an eye on the launch date and will let know as soon as something is final.

How is 9.5k pricing for this great when the Xperia Mini which has a MSM8255 1GHz and Adreno 205, 5MP auto focus camera with flash 720p HD video recording is priced @ 10k! It also got ICS update. The only advantages of the Tipo are slightly bigger screen and more internal memory
This phone’s entry is late and poorly priced for the features…!!! Not sure anyone would pay so much for such features, when better options are available 🙂 6-7K bracket better.
its price should be 7k. at the price of 10k u have so many good options
