The pricing is about INR 1,000 less than other similar tablets available from Micromax or Karbonn, which should go in the favour of the tablet. It features Android 4.0, 1.2GHz processor, 7-inch tablet, 0.3MP front camera.
Lava tablet will also come with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 2800 mAh battery and Wi-Fi connectivity.
There is still no word on the release date of the tablet, however online reports indicate that tablet is expected to go on pre-order from August 4, 2012 and it will be officially available in the week after that.
Lava had recently become the first company to launch an Intel processor powered smartphone in the country as well as world in the form of XOLO X900.
