Next Android release Jelly Bean just became official as the statue marking the version was installed in the building 44 lawns at Google campus minutes ago. There is a tradition that Google installs the statue of every Android version highlighting the codename of that release – Jelly Bean in this case.

Jelly Bean is the codename for Android 4.1 release, which is expected to be announced later tomorrow at Google I/O keynote.

Google is also rumoured to unveil Nexus 7, a tablet running on Jelly Bean at the keynote.
