HCL launches ICS powered Me Tab U1, MyEdu Tabs in India

HCL has announced three new Android tablets in the country today. These tablets will be joining company’s already existing huge tablet line-up. The cheapest of the bunch Me Tab U1 will be priced at INR 7,999, while the student focused MyEdu Tabs will come starting INR 9,999.

Company is betting big on the use of technology in the schooling with the launch of its student focused MyEdu tablets. There will be two versions, one for student in KG-12th standards, while other for students in higher education. These will be priced at INR 11,499 and 9,999 respectively.

All three tablets come with Android 4.0.3, 7 inch capacitive display, 1GHz single core processor, 512M RAM, 0.3MP front camera and 4GB of internal memory.

Seems like All Winner Soc. Pretty costly considering XTab, VeeDee are selling for less against a multiple million dollar HCL

on the tab, I must tell you that tablet market is way to get momentum. People still prefer stuffs doing online over PC/laptop and mobiles.
