Temple Run finally streaks its way onto Android for free on Google Play

Advertisements

Temple Run, a ridiculously addictive running game by Imangi Studios, is now available  in the Google Play Store. If you know anyone who owns an iOS device, odds are you’ve already heard of this game and have been anxiously impatiently waiting for its release on our beloved (and superior) Android OS. The time has finally arrived — and you can even treat yourself to this one for free.

If you’re not familiar, the objective is very simple. You are the temple adventurer and you are being chased by a pack of Evil Demon Monkeys. You must test your reflexes as you race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs. Swipe to turn, jump and slide to avoid obstacles, collect coins and buy power ups, unlock new characters, and see how far you can run!

The game file size is 26MB, so I suggest having a WiFi connection handy before downloading, just to save yourself some leeway in these trying times of “unlimited” data. You’ll also need a phone running Android 2.1 or better.

If you’re ready to try Temple Run out for yourself, head over to Google Play by clicking the link below. Then, drop us a comment and share your high scores — see if you’ve got what it takes to streak your way to the top of the AndroidOS.in community!
