Intex launches Gingerbread tablet ‘ i-Tab’

Computer peripherals maker Intex Technologies has announced the launch of its first Android tablet today in India. Dubbed as i-Tab, it comes with Android 2.3 on-board. Company has priced it at INR 11,900.

Intex i-Tab features 8 inch capacitive display, 1GHz processor, 8GB internal memory, 5000 mAh battery, USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and inbuilt GPS. Company ha pre-loaded host of apps like Angry Birds, and Office Suite on the tablet.

“Intex iTab is a unique 8-inch multifunctional tablet which will cater to a wide spectrum of customers. While it will be a one-stop shop for young urban professionals on move, it will also fulfill ever evolving professional and personal needs of youths in mid tier cities. Intex is looking at expanding its tablet portfolio in the coming months with introduction of newer models with in-built 3G as well as other form factors such as the 7-inch and 10-inch model.”

It aint good Panda. After seeing all the top end products.. These tabs seem so average. I know they cost less so dont bother reminding me. 😉
