A bit late, but Sony has started selling Tablet S 3G and Tablet P 3G versions in India. Both the tablets are now available at retail stores as well as online along with the previously launched Tablet S Wi-Fi only version.

Originally announced on December 14 in India, the Tablet S 3G version was supposed to go on sale in mid-January, but looks like, it got a little delayed. Tablet S 3G version sports same features as the Wi-Fi only version apart from the additional 3G connectivity.

On the other hand, Tablet P comes with Android 3.2, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, dual 5.5 inch displays, 5MP rear camera front camera and 3G connectivity.

You can grab Tablet S 3G for INR 33,750 (MRP – 33990) or Tablet P 3G for INR 36,750 (MRP – 36,990) from Flipkart.

  1. Most tablets are still in their infancy and cannot really replace laptops. So, these companies should price tablets around 20k for better reception (add high 3G prices). @35k, they are shutting off a large proportion of potential buyers who may be interested in the mobility that a tablet offers.

  2. well this tablet has some features which are not present event in the best of the tablet. It has playstation games + universal remote + india focussed apps and things like social feedreader besides all the browsing stuff. I checked it yesterday, now thinking about buying it. Its worth the money, me thinks.
