Asus spilled its CES plans at a press event in Taipei today and confirmed that it will launch two new tablet models at the show and further two models in the second half of 2012.

Company also stated that it is finally going to release the 3G version of Transformer Prime TF201 in March this year. Company has earlier disappointed many by announcing that it will not launch the 3G version of Prime.

According to folks at netbooknews, who were present at this press briefing, Asus will be launching a seven inch tablet as well as high res 10.1 model at CES next week. This high-res 10.1 model lines up perfectly with leaked Eee Pad TF202 about which we reported earlier today. This Transformer Prime variant was spotted at a benchmarking website and is supposed to feature 1920X1200p display and 1.5GHz dual core processor instead of Tegra 3 in OG Prime.

No other information about these devices was shared at the event, although company did confirm that it will be using a powerful GPS module in the new variants of Prime.
