T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G updates bring WiFi calling

T-Mobile has released software updates for Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Amazon 4G, which bring WiFi calling to these Android smartphones. T-Mobile is the only US telecom operator to offer voice calling over WiFi networks.

HTC Amaze 4G is already rolling out for last two days, while Galaxy S II update will start today.  SGS2 update will be sent Over-The-Air (FOTA) and will also be available via Kies Mini.

HTC Amaze 4G update change-log:

  • Wi-Fi Calling
  • Google Music

Improvements

  • Improvements to Bluetooth connection
  • Clock widget not updating with time zone change
  • Improvement to Twitter and Peep application
  • Improved Wi-Fi  connection

Galaxy S II Update Change-log:

  • Caller ID enhancements
  • Battery enhancements
  • Wi-Fi calling enhancements
  • Android version bump to Android 2.3.5
