Folks at netbooknews.com have been posting a lot of stuff regarding Asus product launches in the recent past, first Transformer Prime release date (which was slightly off the target) followed by Eee Pad Memo launch (happening in Jan with ICS on-board), they now have revealed the Padfone launch date.

Nicole Scott from their team revealed on Engadget podcast that Asus Padfone will be released at Mobile World Congress with Tegra 3 inside. This revelation lines up with Asus Chairman Jonney Shih’s remark at AsiaD.  Asus Padfone, which was first showed in May this year, was expected to run on Qualcomm Krait S4, but it seems company has decided to switch that with Tegra 3.

Merging all the leaks and Asus official statement so far, Padfone will b running on Android 4.0, and will feature quad core processor, 10+4 inch display and WiFi with 3G via phone.

To remind you, MWC 2012 is happening in the Feb end (Feb 27-March 1) and we will be brining you all the news as usual.
