Panasonic to launch Android phones in Europe & Asia

Panasonic plans to re-enter European and Asian markets next year with its Android smartphones, reported Reuters today. Company had earlier stopped launching its mobile phones in Europe and China due to stiff competition and other reasons.

Company will assemble these smartphones somewhere in South-East Asia and aims to 7.5 million mobile phones in fiscal year 2015. Panasonic is already in talk with several European telecom operators to launch these phones. Along with Europe, we will releases in Asian countries and North America.

It has been selling Android phones in Japan for some time and is likely to release similar models in International markets as well.
