Galaxy Nexus Volume bug a software issue, fix on the way

Google has confirmed that it has identified the volume bug that is creating problems for early Galaxy Nexus adopters in UK. Company also stated that it has developed the fix for the problem and it will soon be rolled out as an update.

Few days back, we reported about this weird issue in Galaxy Nexus that was termed as self-adjusting volume ghost bug. Users were skeptical that it might turn out to be a hardware issue but Google today reached out to Android Police and clarified that it is indeed an Android related bug and an update to fix the issue will soon be rolled out.

Exact Google Statement below:

We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.
