LG reveals Gingerbread update schedule for Optimus 2X, Black and 3D

LG has finally announced the update schedule for Optimus 2X, Optimus 3D and Black smartphones on its Facebook page today. The roll-out will begin with Optimus 2X tomorrow in Europe for unlocked units followed by carrier versions and then in other countries.

On the other hand, European Optimus 3D will get the update in the week starting November 21, and European Optimus Black in week commencing November 28. Both the European update roll-outs will follow global update release.

LG has delaying these updates for very long and we recently saw the ICS announcement, making these update automatically a generations old. Hope that LG will get its act together and will be faster with the updates in future.
