Google TV 2.0 update is Honeycomb based – Andy Rubin

Those of you were wondering whether the upcoming Google TV 2.0 update will be Honeycomb based or Ice Cream Sandwich based. Well, Google Mobile SVP Andy Rubin has stated at the AsiaD conference today that it will indeed be based on Honeycomb.

To remind you about this update, Google is expected to announce it on November 8 at Streaming Media West 2011 and will bring Market support, and UI changes among others.
