Visa, American Express, Discover to support Google Wallet soon

Google has revealed that it is currently working with Visa, American Express and Discover to bring their support to Google Wallet. Wallet only works with Citibank Mastercard credit cards and Google PrePaid cards right now and without support from Visa and other card provider making Wallet successful is an impossible dream.

According to Google, Visa, Discover and American Express have made available their NFC specifications that could enable their cards to be added to future versions of Google Wallet.

First announced back in May, Google Wallet is a free Android app that stores virtual versions of a customer’s credit cards, offers and loyalty cards right on the one device they always have with them — their phone.
