TiVo working on Android app

Popular DVR maker TiVo has announced that it is working on an Android app, which will help users to manage their DVR devices. Company has however not given any timeframe for the release of this app.

Android “is on our active road map,” TiVo Chief Executive Tom Rogers told Dow Jones Newswires.

Expected Features:

A similar iOS app, which was released earlier this year, allows users to view TV schedule for two weeks of upcoming programming, select a show to start watching on TV, and schedule one-time recordings as well as Season Pass recordings, even when you are not in front of your TV. You can also browse your recorded shows on this app and play them on your TiVo.
