BBC releases iPlayer Android app [Update]

BBC has finally released its official iPlayer app in Android Market. It allows users to watch and listen to the BBC TV/Radio programmes on the go. The app currently displays the programmes only from last seven days.

Application Features:

–          Watch live TV

–          Listen to live radio

–          Scroll through and find Featured and Most Popular programmes

–          Add programmes to your favourites and have them ready and waiting when a new episode or series is available

–          Browse through the schedule for upcoming programmes

Download is available in Android Market for free for devices running on Android 2.2 or above.

Update: Looks like iPlayer is only available in UK right now.
