Evernote acquires Skitch, launches Android app

Evernote today announced that it has acquired popular image annotation application Skitch and its co-founders Cris Pearson and Keith Lang will join the EverNote team for further developments.

Company also announced the release of Skitch for Android in the Android Market. It is free app and provides some really cool features.

You can do a lot of stuff with Skitch for Android app including drawing on a blank canvas or adding annotations to an existing image in your Android device or clicking an image inside the Skitch app and then working on it.

You can also export your Skitched images to EverNote for Android directly from the app.
