HTC’s first Honeycomb tablet seems to be so out of reach. Even after plethora of leaks, we are yet to see even a single official word from HTC regarding its launch or even its existence. But, it seems, we finally have something.
According to a report in Digitimes, a Chinese newspaper Liberty Times quoted HTC CFO Winston Yung saying that HTC plans to launch Puccini at the end of the third quarter or early fourth quarter. Which gives us the September-October window and we hope that HTC sticks to that schedule otherwise with Ice Cream Sandwich round the corner; there is no sense in launching a Honeycomb tablet.
