First Ice Cream Sandwich aka Android 4.0 images emerge?

Advertisements

First images of Nexus S running on a test build of Android’s next major version ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ were leaked last night. While I am disappointed after looking at these images, there is a considerable chance that they are bogus!

There does not seem to be any major changes apart from the UI color, new launcher and a task switcher on home-screen.

We are taking this leak with a pinch of salt until the authenticity of these somehow gets validated.

Other information, which this leak brings, is that Nexus S will get the ICS update, while the next Nexus device will be the first running on it. There aren’t going to be any big hardware requirements, so most of the devices launched this year would be able to run it and rest is up to the manufacturers.
