Motorola to launch two tablets, LTE smartphones in 2H

Motorola Mobility chief Sanjay Jha announced that his company will be launching two more tablets and two new 4G LTE smartphones in the second half of the year. He was speaking at the June quarter earnings call. Apart from these upcoming devices, company will also be releasing the LTE upgrade of existing Verizon Xoom owners and Droid Bionic in September.

The upcoming two tablets will include a 10 inch display and one smaller tablet – probably seven inch.

Last Quarter Results: Motorola shipped 4.4 million smartphones and 440,000 Xoom tablets in the second quarter of the year.
