Asus Eee Pad Transformer India launch in July end?

Advertisements

Everyone is waiting for Asus India to launch its Honeycomb tablet Eee Pad Transformer in India. We finally might have a possible launch timing for the tablet in the country. It is being reported that Asus will launch it around July-end.

Coming to pricing, if priced at par with US, we may see Eee Pad Tranformer 16GB WIFI only version selling in India around 18K, but I think after the added taxation and all, this tablet would be priced around INR 20K.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer comes with an impressive set of hardware, which is at par with other main tablets in the market. It has already got Android 3.1 update in some markets, which would mean we might see it getting launched with 3.1 on-board.

According to TMI, Asus spokesman has told them that Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 would be launched in the last week of July. While nothing is confirmed publically by the company, so we would bet much on it, but it is high time that company released the tablet in India.

I am really exited about this beautiful tablet. And Gaurav could you tell me if the keybord dock comes in the box or one will have to buy it seperatly?

they are going on delaying it since may…and it better not be as expensive as the xoom after adding taxes

Its too late for Asus to release the transformer, when next version with tegra 3 which is supposed to be 5 times faster will be releasing 2011 Q4
