HTC Flyer 3G debuts in India with INR 39,890 price tag

HTC has officially announced its first Android tablet Flyer in India. Company has priced it at an MRP of INR 39,890, but the street price is expected to be around INR 37K.

HTC India has also announced the launch of HTC Watch, and Onlive mobile gaming service in the country. The HTC Watch is an on-demand movie download service, using which you can watch hundreds of High-Definition movies from major studios. On the other hand, with the help of Onlive cloud gaming, you can play top video games on your televisions and computers without the need to buy expensive gaming hardware or software.

“HTC believes that many people are progressing beyond a single wireless device paradigm into an era where some will own multiple wireless devices that serve their different needs,” said Faisal Siddiqui, Country Manager, HTC India.  “We saw an opportunity to create a tablet experience that is different, more personal and productive, and are extremely excited to introduce the HTC Flyer in the Indian market.”

  • 7 inch display with HTC Scribe support
  • Android 2.3.3 with HTC Sense for tablets
